Precautions and maintenance methods of laser range finder

For the daily use and maintenance of the laser range finder, what aspects should we pay attention to?

1. Pay attention to the positive and negative poles when installing the battery, and use alkaline batteries. If you do not use the laser range finder for a long time, you need to take out the battery to prevent the battery from leaking and corroding the movement.

2. When measuring, do not look directly at the launch port with your eyes, and do not observe the reflective surface with a collimating telescope, so as not to hurt people's eyes.

3. The laser rangefinder is a high-level instrument integrating light, machinery and electricity. It should be handled with care during use. It is strictly forbidden to squeeze or drop from a high place to avoid damage to the instrument.

4. The sunlight is too strong, the ambient temperature fluctuates too much, the reflection effect of the reflective surface is weak, and the measurement results will have large errors when the battery is insufficient. When the ambient temperature of the instrument changes, the instrument should be equilibrated with the ambient temperature for a period of time before use.

5. When measuring in the field, do not point the launch port of the instrument directly at the sun to avoid burning out the photosensitive element of the instrument.

6. The laser range finder can be used in rainy and snowy days, but if the laser hits water droplets or snowflakes in the air, it will be affected. You can measure it several times to reduce the error.

7. The instrument should not be placed in a place with excessive humidity, high temperature or direct sunlight, and avoid contact with overheated or objects with strong magnetism and electricity, as well as corrosive objects such as lipids, ketones, ethylene and dichloride.

8. Generally, the rangefinder is not waterproof. In order to avoid damage to the rangefinder, do not immerse the instrument in water.
